They were clean and friendly for the most part.The shower was hot. The bed was comfortable.The TV's worked and had cable. They are conveniently located by the interstate. They have good come machines that didn't take my money. The snack machine was lovely. The rooms weren't over priced. I just loved staying there.

Great room for truckers, got secured parking for your truck, & the inside of the rooms definitely are very nice, nice wood floors, & tile. Nice TV, bed a lil squeaky but comfortable & clean!! The entire room very clean! Only issue I had was the toilet didn't have any flushing power. Staff very friendly, small free breakfast, free ice, able to drop trailer to bobtail into town & not worry about your trailer. Great price & definitely will recommend & be back. Oh yea free strong wifi too.

I recently stayed at the Colonial Inn and I would highly recommend it. The rooms are not huge, but they are very nice. The price was excellent compared to a lot of places. There was a decent sized coffee pot, an iron, hair dryer and more TV channels than you could ever watch (none of these at the last name brand hotel). It was quiet with no one hanging around as was not the case at the last place I stayed at (a name brand motel). I will definitely be back again.

I read reviews on this motel & saw the tip to ask for side away from truck stop. Room was clean & spacious & air conditioner worked good. Seemed to be a family run motel. There was a small laundromat available & a good looking continental …

It’s a very clean 2 star hotel. Truck parking is nice and is included with your room rent. I paid for a parking spot for an extra few days while we went to New Orleans, it’s a very reasonable $12/day if you aren’t renting a room.

The bed was perfect. After staying at another hotel with worn out beds it was heaven to sleep on the excellent bed at the Colonial. The room was very clean and quiet. Both TV and coffee maker worked. The bathtub was clean and up to date. Overall the room was extremely comfortable and better than expected. We will definitely stay here again.

Went here here because nobody else had a room. Location next to the truck stop was not appealing (in a trucker). But I learned don't judge a book by its cover. The rooms were very clean, bed and pillows were comfy and room stays pretty dark. Much to my surprise you couldn't hear the truck stop noise hardly at all. This will probably be my go to from now on. P. S owner was also very nice. Great place you got there

Stayed here on 34 reset, host gave free truck parking with the room cost for 2 days. Room enough for at least 5 trucks with trailers. Awesome welcoming host, truckers discount as well. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with great WiFi service. Needed extra towels and received with no problem, new towels were brought to the room after returning used towels in the morning. Host keeps all the riff raff off the property as well, he’s very attentive to elements that might disturb your stay. All in all great experience, very accommodating and warm. I will definitely be staying here anytime I come through Louisiana and need a room.

It's my second stay. Never seen a bug. I always get smoking so rooms are a little beat up but nice. Always clean. I recommend online reservation for price. Roaming guard all night and he's very polite.
